Paknam lies at the mouth
of the Menam Chao Phya
connecting Bangkok with
the Gulf of Thailand.
 Here I am ferried across the river with my Vespa scooter.
This time, no problems... on another occasion,
the boatman pulled a knife on me;
perhaps I said the wrong thing? My Thai was rather poor!
